As is customary, August saw the a number of people, including our project manager, taking a couple of weeks off – so this update covers three weeks of progress.
All of the pillars on the ground floor slab have been finished and the supporting formwork installed for the 1st floor slab. The 1st and 2nd floor slabs have polystyrene blocks, rather than concrete, to keep the weight of the structure down. Most of the steel has been installed and should be ready for concerting by the end of the week.
