Whilst there has been some progress this week (stripping off some of the formwork on the lower levels), those with eagle eyes will also see something have also gone backwards. As mentioned in the previous post, a number of defects were identified (some minor, but also some major). However, the good news is that they were spotted in time and work has now begun to rectify those issues, such as removing the steel posts installed on the first floor slab.
Progress has been made with the backfilling behind the villa, which is now up to the penultimate level (1m below finished surface). This level will be used to build the scaffolding, on which the master suite slab formwork will be installed.
