Great to see some good progress again this week, following some setbacks and rework that the project manager and architect have insisted on. Whilst it is never great to have delays, the attention to detail from the team is reassuring to know that the quality is never going to be sacrificed.
The formwork for the master suite terrace has been installed, following the reinstallation of the steel posts. This slab ‘bridges’ the main house with the front garden at road level, creating a covered terrace at the rear of the villa and also serving as the slab for the master suite – to only thing that will be visible from the road level. This should make a real architectural statement, when people approach the villa by car, they will only see one story (master suite), but then can come out onto the terrace and appreciate the full scale of the villa.
